Really enjoyed painting these two oils…studying how the light changes as the sun arcs across the harbour.
Late afternoon sunshine on the water in Caswell Bay never ever fails to inspire me….here are two of my latest fun filled paintings
I’m ever amazed at the variations of colour in the sky, whatever time of day. So here’s a group of recent oils I did in close succession which demonstrates this awe I have…
And finally, what I really look forward to painting is a moonlit scene over mumbles…watch this space
Having great fun at the moment painting this big beauty of Caswell whilst listening to ambient sounds of folk playing at the seaside. It really helps …just need to stand my feet now in a bucket of salt water for added affect…haha
Had a great week creating these paintings, recalling some beautiful moments. Light on the water is such a marvellous thing to study, it enhances the tonal quality of everything we notice and makes the scene so energised and exciting.
