Just had this big beauty back from my printers… Really pleased with the quality of it ,especially as it’s my first time printing on canvas. It’s as good as the original which I sold several years ago!
Delighted with this reproduction, as was the couple who just purchased one.
Really enjoying working on all the commissions coming my way. Requests from lovely people for paintings to celebrate both their love of beautiful locations as well for the people they love. It is so uplifting and touching to paint these works of joy.
Meanwhile…In the midst of all of this, I found time to paint this paddle-boarder, a scene I found filled with both calm and elegance.
Thanks to my expert framers, Bevian3dframing in Neath, I’ve just hung these three paintings on the wall…
Delighted I’m being kept busy with an increasing workload of commissioned paintings. It’s so nice to be getting these requests from lovely people for whom Gower, especially, is as dear to them as to myself.
In between these paintings I’m finding it beneficial to review and sometimes ‘tweek’ some of my existing canvases.
Here’s a trio I particularly like for their colour harmony…
For my first post of 2021 ( Happy New Year All! ), I’ve been working on both a Brecon and a Gower scene today.
Encouraged by a farmer and his wife from down Rhossili, having purchased one of my paintings just before Christmas, said that I should combine my two passions, namely rural scenes together with beach paintings….
So, I guess it’s only right to do sheep on the beach…imminently! Haha
Meanwhile, here are today’s offerings…
And working on these Show Girls….
Really enjoyed painting these two oils…studying how the light changes as the sun arcs across the harbour.
Late afternoon sunshine on the water in Caswell Bay never ever fails to inspire me….here are two of my latest fun filled paintings
